Hello, Mikayla Asfeld here. A former farm girl who now has 10 years in the manufacturing industry. I started off as a certified welder at job shops welding tanks for various industries, then worked my way into Manufacturing Engineering and eventually became an Engineering Manager for a company for a couple years. After getting laid off from my management position due to financial difficulties in the company, I decided to pursue my own company (Multiple Material Arts) full time creating custom solutions for my clients using metals and plastics through reverse engineering, other manufacturing techniques, and artistic fab. In the past few years of owning my company I have also worked part time as a fabricator for a blacksmith company, and just recently started doing customized training at a technical college for manufacturing in various areas including welding, 3D modeling, process flow, and engineering.
